Fall 2024 Workwear Capsule

It’s here!! This season, I was a little delayed getting out of this season’s capsule because I ordered quite a few things that just didn’t work. Over the years of posting capsules each season, I thought, “OK, this will be my last,” but then I got the sweetest messages on how these help your busy lives. This time around, I’m using higher-end pieces, can easily be mixed and matched for years to come, and work for all business types.

Let’s first talk capsules! The idea behind a capsule is to limit your items and mix and match each piece as much as possible. Now, most women don’t own just four pairs of pants and five tops, but if you’re looking to update your workwear or trying to figure out what to wear on a daily basis, capsules are great!

This season, I also added some “trendy” styles and colors for a pop, but they are a little something that can update items you might already have in your closet. This season, leopard, pops of red, ballet flats, and bold sneakers are trending, so if you want more options, head to this post.

Also, I always get a ton of questions on heels… I like heels; my husband is 6’4 “, so you will ALWAYS see heels in my capsules. If you don’t wear heels, I have flat options that will go beautifully with these pants and skirts. I just don’t feel like hemming pants that I would wear with heels. Now, this season, for the first time, I added sneakers! I know a lot of you love this trend, so I had to add some fun options.

THE PIECES

This season, I picked from various retailers and some old favorites from my closet. Here is the shopping list and my sizing recommendations.

I’m 5’5, size 12/14 with 38DD chest. TTS is short for true to size based on size guides and other items from that brand.

THE OUTFITS

These pieces are such classics that I know you will find a million ways to wear them, but if you are doing a true capsule and only mixing and matching the items shown, you can still put together a month of workweek outfits!

Also, this capsule I tried to add in some jeans that look like dress pants, perfect for a business casual environment!
